Program Notes-
Ocean Drive is one of the most important landmarks in Miami’s history. Adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean, Ocean Drive is the spot many people travel to experience the vibrant culture of the city. “The Vibrance on Ocean Drive” brings the culture of Miami to the forefront and focus of the composition. Throughout the piece, many quotations are utilized in connection with other aspects of the culture. My goal was to capture the vibrance, creativity, and imagination of this distinctive city. The piece is intended to be a bold, exciting, showstopper, just like the iconic Ocean Drive.
